| Description: | Proposal involves construction of a 120-student toddler, pre-school and school age child care facility situated at the corner of West 25th Street and Swift Avenue. Building will consist of a 9,000 s.f. single-story school building. The building's exterior will be masonry block with vinyl-framed windows, metal-framed doors and a shingle roof. Total site area including the 22-space parking lot is 1.5 acres. Accomodation will be made for a bus drop off that can handle 4 large school buses. Major construction is intended to begin in the summer of 2013 and will be completed before the winter of 2014. |

Following an extensive discussion, Committee moved to table the proposal in order to permit the sponsors to further study the following planning and design issues: 1. Building placement on the site. 2. Building envelope and design, roof style, materials and colors. 3. Building and site lighting. 4. Landscaping 5. Fencing 6. Signage Sponsors agreed to present alternative design concepts to the Committee at its June 12, 2013 meeting.
